Who operates this service
This website and the FirstTensor services described here are operated under the FirstTensor name. Privacy enquiries and data-rights requests can be sent to contact@firsttensor.com.
This policy covers firsttensor.com, its staking dashboards, and the public GenesisL1 endpoints listed below.
Data we handle
Website and security data
Web servers, reverse proxies, node software, and public RPC services may process IP addresses, timestamps, requested URLs or methods, response codes, user-agent information, and operational diagnostics. These records are used to deliver the service, detect abuse, investigate failures, and maintain security.
Wallet and blockchain data
When you connect or enter a wallet, the service processes public wallet addresses and public on-chain data such as balances, delegations, validator positions, claims, rewards, and transaction history. The service does not request or store seed phrases or private keys. Blockchain records are public and may be permanent.
Persistent snapshots and indexes
PostgreSQL stores public or pseudonymous blockchain identifiers and derived network information, including GenesisL1 holder-rank snapshots, connected-wallet indexing jobs, daily balance history, reward events, Bittensor delegator snapshots, stake events, root claims, and eligible legacy wallet lists. It does not contain profile names or email addresses for these wallet records.
Browser storage
Necessary local or session storage remembers consent, an explicitly connected wallet session, and locally cached wallet-history points. Details are listed in the Cookie Policy.
Analytics
Google Analytics uses Advanced Consent Mode. Its tag loads with analytics and advertising storage denied and may send limited cookieless measurements, including consent state, page and referral information, browser metadata, timestamps, and IP-derived technical information. Analytics cookies are read or written only after you grant Analytics consent. StatCounter remains blocked until consent. Advertising consent remains denied.
Partnership form
The current partnership form is a local preview. It validates the fields in your browser but does not submit the application to FirstTensor or store it on the server. This policy will be updated before submissions are enabled.
Why we process data
- To provide wallet, staking, validator, status, archive, API, and RPC functions you request.
- To protect services, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, and maintain reliable infrastructure.
- To create network statistics and last-known-good operational snapshots from public blockchain data.
- To measure website use only when you consent to Analytics.
- To meet legal obligations and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims where applicable.
The corresponding legal bases may include performance of requested services or pre-contract steps, legitimate interests in secure and reliable infrastructure, consent for optional analytics, and compliance with legal obligations.
Public GenesisL1 infrastructure
FirstTensor operates public interfaces intended for wallets, applications, developers, explorers, and directory services such as ChainList. Requests to these interfaces may be logged for security, reliability, capacity, troubleshooting, and abuse prevention.
- REST API: https://api.genesisl1.firsttensor.com
- Consensus RPC: https://rpc.genesisl1.firsttensor.com
- EVM JSON-RPC: https://evm.genesisl1.firsttensor.com
- EVM WebSocket: wss://evm.genesisl1.firsttensor.com/ws
- gRPC: grpc.genesisl1.firsttensor.com:443
Do not include secrets, seed phrases, private keys, or unnecessary personal information in RPC requests. Public blockchain submissions may become permanently visible and cannot be erased by FirstTensor.
Recipients and external services
Data may be processed by infrastructure and network providers needed to host, secure, and operate the service. Google receives limited cookieless measurements while Analytics storage is denied. When Analytics is accepted, Google Analytics and StatCounter receive full analytics data as described above. Market and network pages may use CoinGecko, DexScreener, GeckoTerminal, Binance, Taostats, Bittensor/Subtensor providers, GenesisL1 endpoints, and public explorers. Server-side requests normally expose the server address; direct browser wallet or RPC connections can expose your IP address and request metadata to the selected provider.
Google, StatCounter, or other providers may process data outside the European Economic Area under the transfer mechanisms they make available. Their independent terms and privacy notices also apply.
Retention
Consent choices and wallet-related browser storage remain until the stated expiry, disconnection, tab closure, or manual browser clearing described in the Cookie Policy. Public blockchain data follows the retention and immutability rules of the relevant network. Operational database snapshots and server or RPC logs are retained only as needed for the stated purposes, but the current production retention periods must be confirmed and formally documented by the service operator.
Your choices and rights
You can reject Analytics without losing necessary site functions and can later change your choice through Cookie settings in the footer. Withdrawal stops future optional analytics collection; FirstTensor also removes accessible first-party analytics cookies where technically possible.
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, or objection, and may withdraw consent. These rights can be limited where data is public, immutable on-chain, required for security, or needed by law. Contact contact@firsttensor.com. You may also complain to the competent data-protection authority in your country.
Automated decisions and changes
FirstTensor does not use the website data described here to make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. This policy may change when services, providers, or legal requirements change; the date above identifies the current version.
